Our Mission

The Vibrant Health and Wellness Foundation is a nonproft foundation, founded in 2003 to enhance the physical wellness and quality of life for adults, youth, children and people with special needs with out regard to race, religion or national origin. VHWF was established to provide multidimensional solutions to the questions on how to achieve a healthy life style with improved human performance and holistic growth.

The mission of the Vibrant Health and Wellness Foundation is to combine innovative technology with the best health-ftness science to educate, advise, and encourage the citizens of Maryland and the Washington DC metropolitan area to enhance the quality of their lives through regular physical activity and healthy dietary practices. The Foundation acts as a clearinghouse for information on physical ftness, nutrition, wellness, and improved health activities by means of the collection, publication, and dissemination of materials for the State’s population as well as other jurisdiction through partnership or single entity to foster the development of healthy lifestyles through exercise and nutrition, and encouraging creativity in research to bring health-ftness science to fruition. The promotion of health and ftness is provided in a variety of contexts (programs, presentations, workshop, and seminars) including pamphlets and brochures, newspapers, magazine and journal articles, videotapes, motivational programs and speakers. The broad focus of its activities reaches Government, non-Government, communities, schools, worksites, recreation and family centers, and special populations such as seniors, physically challenged and people with special needs.

The mission emphasis of the Vibrant Health and Wellness Foundation is to improve the health of the people of Maryland, and the Washington DC metropolitan area by serving as an advocate for health-ftness promotion, wellness education and disease prevention.

All monies raised by Vibrant Health and Wellness Foundation are received by Congressional District Programs and become the sole property of CDP which,
for internal operating purposes, allocates the funds to the project. The Program Manager makes recommendations for disbursements
which are received by CDP for approval.
